My name is Mehnaz Fatima. I am from District 1, Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir. I had a business coach, and along with my first colleague, I started my journey in online business six months ago. Within these six months, I generated an income of over Rs 1 lakh and faced a lot of problems along the way. I listened to many negative people saying things like, "How will you do it? They are all fake. You are wasting your money." But I didn't listen to them; instead, I focused on my work and kept working hard.
It was a very happy day for me when, after a lot of hard work, I received my first payout of Rs 4000. It was not only a happy day but also overwhelming because I had to prove the people who talked negatively to me wrong. In today's world, where everything online is often considered fake, I worked day and night to prove them wrong. When I generated an income of Rs 1 lakh, that day became the happiest day of my life.
I am very happy, and this achievement also made my family happy. Being the youngest daughter in my family, my father was very proud. I felt very proud, and my father also felt proud of me. I didn't tell anyone in my family about starting the online business journey. When I started earning, I informed my family because my parents were concerned that nothing wrong should happen to their children. My mother used to convince us not to work online. This is why I didn’t tell anyone initially, but after earning, I shared my success with them. They were very proud that I stayed at home in my hijab, without showing my face, and worked to earn money. There was no greater happiness for them than knowing that we can live within our limits and in our hijab.
To learn skills and to guide others, I have helped over fifty girls understand how they can use social media to earn money while staying at home and wearing hijab. I feel very blessed to have chosen this platform. I became financially independent at the age of 18. One step and six months of hard work took me far.

I plan to extend this assistance to people all over India, UAE, Nepal, and Bangladesh, helping them become financially independent through freelancing while sitting at home.
